The truth is nothing is for free,
you will pay for the 'free phone' through the 2 year plan that you sign
up to. With Phones Direct, yes, you pay for the phone, but what you
don't have to do is sign a lengthy contract. If the price of ph calls,
data, or txting goes down (as it will) then you will be free to take
advantage of this.
Also
look at the SIM only plans that your Telco advertise (this is what you
can use if you don't sign a plan with your Telco and you buy one of our
phones) and compare them to a term plan that includes a free phone. You
will find that the SIM only plan is about half the price (or the price
of the 'Free Phone').
